Merge Records Releases Arcade Fire Remixes By Damian Taylor On Record Store Day 2012

This special 12-inch pressing marks the first physical release of the remixes of those two songs by Damian Taylor and Arcade Fire. The remix of “Sprawl II” can be heard in the dance motion-activated music video by Vincent Morisset, while the “Ready to Start” remix has previously only been available as a bonus download with the deluxe film-bundled version of the album.

The 12″ will be available worldwide on April 21, in stores participating in Record Store Day. Support your local record store!

As years have gone by, this image has faded away and is now replaced by younger hip agents, A&Rs, producers, managers, etc…

This panel will introduce the new A&Rs, by inviting along some key people in the industry who have an important role in breaking new artists. Be it they’re agents, A&Rs, producers or managers, who are the new A&Rs? And how do these people play a role in discovering new artists and propelling them at an international level? Furthermore, how can you reach out to these people?
